The Scottie Mural - 2016

The original design

The mural installed

The mural installed from a distance

This mural was designed by Jamie Schorsch and completed by the Oak Hills National Honor Society. I worked under Schorsch as a part of the society to paint the mural onto panels which were later installed at the Oakdale Elementary School playground.

Oak Hills High School Flag Pole Base - 2016

As a part of my senior legacy project, I worked with 5 other artists to complete this mural. Each section of the concrete base has a recreation of a master painting with a flag below of the country that the master painter was associated with.  We each were assigned a trapezoid on the top of the base, however I also painted a majority of the flags. I also did all of the finishing touches.

The Cincinnati Zoo Rain Barrel Art Benefit Auction - 2015

The original design

This Rain Barrel Art Project was created to promote the use of rain barrels throughout the Ohio River Valley area through a creative and educational medium. Rain barrels continue to grow in popularity, however they tend to be very dull and may make landscaping look drab. I created a design that had to be approved by the Cincinnati Zoo. Once approved, I led a small team of 5 artists to paint the design onto the barrel before it was donated to the Zoo for the auction. The auction is run by Save Local Waters.

Artworks Making Community Connections Mural - Summer 2014

Artworks describes this project by saying, "In partnership with Fay Limited Partnership. This mural illustrates the vitality and community lifestyle found within the Villages at Roll Hill.  The sprawling landscape represents the green nature of the architectural renovations while the serpentine ribbon connects different scenes of life within the Village.  All ages are represented within the mural design, from infancy to old age, and the different life stages are symbolically depicted through run rise, midday and twilight background details.  Various visual elements reflect the favorite places and pastimes of residents living together in this thriving neighborhood."

All of the apprentices, including myself, designed 3 icons/logos that represent the activities that exist in the community. These logos lie within the ribbon that runs through the top section of the mural. The apprentices also gave a presentation to the community to explain the logos to get community feedback about their content.
